Design, Develop, & Evaluate
Teachers create, develop, and evaluate, and assess learning by incorporating technology tools and resources to ensure positive learning outcomes to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes:
a. design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity
b. develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable all students to pursue their individual curiosities and become active participants in setting their own educational goals, managing their own learning, and assessing their own progress
c. customize and personalize learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources
d. provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching

Reflection
Choosing the correct forms of assessments and learning activities in order to evaluate and gather any related data is important for educators. Educators should understand the different tools available to use for evaluation and also offer a learning environment that is not only engaging, interesting, and interactive, but also an environment that is technology infused and rich in content. That is why these standards are so important. The learning environment the educator provides should always accommodate the audience's different learning styles.
HCD 643 had us create an instructional design plan for a half day mini workshop that offered workforce training. We had to create objectives, perform learner analysis, task analysis, create a facilitators guide with accompanying handouts. This would be great for high-school setting where students can examine different careers. This would provide the opportunity for students to become actively involved in their education and examine their aspirations for the future. Through the role-playing scenario students can see what it is like to be in the workforce and general aspects related to it. The Instructional design plan applies technology standards, tools, and related media into the instruction which enhances the overall learning outcomes of the students and provides a technology -rich environment for learning.
ITD 740 included a major project, the instructional media plan, that was centered around important features of instruction: learner analysis, task analysis, and learning strategies that best fit the audience, including interactive forms of technology, into the instruction, classify the objects into their proper learning domain, and form evaluation methods. This project's input and information was so widespread that it included so many different aspects related to designing instructional technology that best fit the students needs. This plan has us include specific learning activities and strategies that would encourage learning through the use of technology tools.
Future Learning Goals
It is important for educators to address the different learning styles of their students. In the future I hope to continue to research, conduct analysis, and apply the proper learning strategies, teaching strategies, and instructional design models and theories to ensure my student are provided with high-value content that is aligned with the technology and teaching standards.
