Learning
Teachers use their knowledge, teaching abilities, and different forms of technology to facilitate learning through experiences and personal perspectives. This provides positive learning outcomes through learning, creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments. Teachers:

b. engage students in exploring real-world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources
c. promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes
d. model collaborative knowledge construction by engaging in learning with students, colleagues, and others in face-to-face and virtual environments

Reflection
This standard incorporates many different important facets of learning. Teachers should use these standards when incorporating technology into instruction. This standard focuses on promoting critical thinking and creativity of the learners. Promotion of personal reflection through each students' unique perspective allows for the students to be expressive through the entirety of the creativity process. Expression, collaboration, and student engagement are important aspects of learning because they ensure positive learning outcomes.
In IT 755 we were to locate ten websites related to web design and development. . Diigo allows for the student to create online annotated bibliographies. The information is compiled as the student bookmarks each webpage they find to the Diigo outliner provided, after all are located the student can share it with their group members or classmates. This artifact taught me how to use a tool to annotate bibliographies in an outline and how to share it with group members.

In IT 650 we created a online web course through the learning management system (LMS) called Schoology. Schoology allows for educators to build an online classroom platform for instruction. Schoology includes features for the teacher to create such as a gradebook, assignments, tests, discussion boards and much more. The discussions on Schoology can help bridge the gap between interactivity, collaboration, and reflection by allowing the students to answer questions, offer insight, personal perspectives, ideas, and issues related to the discussion with other students. Different types of files can be uploaded and used on this free LMS such as Word, PowerPoint, PDF, and fun graphics. The instructor can create groups for projects, which enhances collaboration and interactivity. This was my first web based course that I created in this program. It was an learning experience and I was able to apply strategies and web design learned from the courses.
IT 740 required us to create a blog using Weebly, which is a free website that hosts websites for businesses and bloggers. We were required to post a weekly reflection with our assignments and comment on our group members posts. The collaboration efforts that blogging entails is an important tool that can be used for educational purposes. Reflection offers insight, personal perspective, and nurtures creativity and interactivity.
Future Learning Goals
In the future I hope to continue being an active advocate for online learning and distance education through the use of efficient and proper technology tools. If technology tools are applied correctly they can be tremendously effective.
